My Expectations for This Course

    Going into this course I'm very excited to improve my writing skills and abilities. I will definitely have to work a lot more outside of the class than I do for others. This is because writing wasn't one of my strongest abilities in high school. I worked a lot with my teacher and I'm super happy to see that there is also writing help provided for us here. I will definitely try to allot time to visit once every two weeks because I believe it can only be beneficial.

    I didn't think we will do much reading, but as I was reading the first chapter it really intrigued me. As long as I continue to find the readings interesting I believe that it will be easy enough. I tend to find it a lot harder when I don't find interest or a connection in it. I do have a couple of tricks that I've taught myself throughout the years to keep myself focused. This can be by setting mini goals or giving myself a time where I have to stop. If I don't do these things I will read the whole thing, but I'll find myself only remembering half of what I actually read the next day.  

    Lastly I'm already grateful with the friends that I've made in this class. I can't wait to work with them in and out of class. Already some of the people in this class are my closest friends that I've made in college so far. In all this class may be a little challenging to me, but that is how you grow.
